Pune, September 8: TECPSL Speeding Cheetahs registered a 47-31 win over PESB Roaring Lions to win the fourth edition of the BVG PMDTA Junior Tennis League organized by PMDTA which concluded at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana Tennis Courts here TECPSL Speeding Cheetahs started with a a win in the Girls under 10 as Devanshree Prabhudesai blanked Kavya Deshmukh 4-0 in the Boys under 10 Archit Dhoot scored a 4-2 win over Aman Shah to give the tea a 8-2 lead however in the Girls under 12 event Aditi Lakhe lost to Roaring Tigers Asmi Adkar 1-6 which brought the lead down to 9-8 . Parth Deorukhkar out rallied Ananmay Upadhay 6-3 in the Boys under 12 to help the Cheetahs to go up 15-12 , their Girls under 14 player Vaishnavi Adkar outplayed Sonal Patil 6-0 to take their team lead to 21-12 The Lions tried to claw back as their Boys under 14 player Ishaan Godhbharlep scored a 6-3 win against Sudhanshu Sawant to help the Lions reduce the deficit to 24-18 , but the Cheetahs Girls under 16 Sneha Ranade edged past Aarya Patil 6-4 to make the score 30-22 , Boys under 16 player Yashraj Dalvi outserved Athrava Amrule 6-2 to take their team to a 36-24 lead , in the Mixed Doubles Cheetahs team of Shlok Gandhi and Shravani Khawale went down to Ruma Gaikaiwaree/Aaryan Sutar 5-6(2) to reduce the deficit , with the scores reading 41-29 the Mixed Doubles: pair of Yashraj Dalvi and Sneha Ranade out played the Lions pair of Aarya Patil and Atharva Amrule 6-2 to take their team to a 47-31 win and the title The winner team TECPSL Speeding Cheetahs were awarded a trophy and Rs.40,000/-, while runner up PESB Roaring Lions received trophy and Rs.25,000/-.
