Pradnyesh Shelke and Arohi Deshmukh emerged winners in the Boys and Girls Under 14 Pune District Tennis Championship organised by  Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association  (PMDTA)  and  Deccan Gymkhana at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.
 
In the final, 9th standard student of Millennium School top seeded Pradnyesh Shelke beat Namish Hood 5-4(1) 4-2 to claim the title. Pradnyesh practices at Millennium Tennis Academy under coach Aditya Madkekar.
 
In the girls finals, 8th standard student of Abhinav Vidyalaya English Medium school and top seeded Arohi Deshmukh scored a  4-1, 4-1 win over fourth seeded Veera Harpude to lift the title. She practices at AIM tennis academy under coach Ketan Dhumal
 
The four boys and girls who made the semifinal stage will represent the Pune District at the Under 14 State Championships to be held at Kolhapur from 16 to 18 May.
 
The prizes were given away at the hands of  PI Sandipan Pawar of Deccan Gymkhana Police Station
