Omkar Sathe , Shreyas Prasad and Shriprakash Raut registered minor upsets to move into tthe third round of the Pune District Mens and Womens District Championships organised by Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association (PMDTA) and Deccan Gymkhana at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.
In the second round of the men's singles Omkar Sathe upset ninth seeded Dhruv Tarvadi 7-1 , Shreyas Prasad blanked thirteenth seeded Atharva Agarwal 7-0 , while Sriprakash Raut out hit fourteenth seeded Tanishk Shinde 7-2.
Over 75 mens and womens players are participating in the event , the four top mens and womens players of the tournament will represent Pune division at the State Championships to be played at Solapur.
